The making of this collection was a long time coming and a layering of so many inspirations and feelings, but to touch briefly on a majority of them: this collection is the story of Norma Desmond's attempt at a return to the screen, even though a comeback was never meant to be. She was trapped by her own need for fame, but furthermore trapped by the world she lived in and the constraints put upon a woman of her time. The glamour of the 1940s is mirrored in that of 1980s glamour, particularly seen worn by the ladies of DYNASTY. The element of bondage and fetish is also woven throughout.
